Its not often, that the main picture is the back of the watch, but this is what makes this quite rare piece. With the larger and in my eyes not so nice 17002, the jumbo has been produces in limited amounts, some are saying not more then 100 pieces of theses watches to exist. Based on another source, the 17011 has been produced only around 50 times. So the 17011 might is the rarer version of the Jumbo Automatique line up. As far as I know, this line has been established after some special order requests asking for an automatic Tank have been made. Cartier reacted to this and built a bunch of automatic Tanks, the 17002 and 17011. This Tank is also called bubble back, because of the extra space the case needed to host the automatic movement. When wearing the watch, you do not feel the the bubble and the watch lays flat on you bracelet. So here is you chance to get a piece of history only produced in limited amounts.

Condition
The watch is in worn condition, but the case remains fat and is not over polished. On the caseback the hall marks are still very good visible and deep. The screw are all nice and working. The crown is nicely preserved and the elongated cabochon is decent. As you can see, the crystal has cracks in the corner, it will be replaced before I ship the watch. The hands have been changed, the old ones were not bad and you will get them as well. The dial has cracks, but looks matching and nice overall. As you can see, the Cartier is missing a part in the R and there is a little part missing next to the 12 index. The deployant is looking nice and is working as expected. The watch has been serviced, so no issues to expect. You will get the watch only in our travel case.
