Cartier
I might regret this, but selling this watch is hard for me. I never had a tank that offered such perfect screw heads and case proportions, leading to two things: Only people with good tools have opened the watch and it has not been polished in the past. What makes the 96019 special compared to the 96065 is how the case is designed: Since the case screws are on the back, the sides of the watch are clean, you only see the bar screws. If the watch now is untouched, the screw heads and the ends of the bar screws are aligning perfectly with the case and it looks and feels like the case is one solid piece of gold, which will never be the case for the 96065. On top of that, the watch features the rarer and nicer long cabochon making this watch extra special. Oh and did I mention that the deployant is also polished? Apropos polished: I bought the watch from a family in Poland, owning this watch since the 70s. I asked for some background knowledge and hopefully we get some stories regarding the watch. Again: This is one of the best Extra/Ultra Plate cases I have ever seen, it will be hard to find a watch in this condition, this is reflected in the price as well.

Condition
As mentioned, regarding the case there is nothing to mention: Some scratches on the brushed case back, some small scratches on the side, the crystal is flawless and the deployant is pretty nice as well. Moving on to the crown, there is also nothing to mention. The hands are looking pretty nice and the blue is stunning in different lights. The dial is perfect, except for a little spot next to the 10 index, which is not caused externally and can be graded as patina. You will not see the spot with you eye when wearing this watch, it is very small and only visible in the macro shots. Watch is running great and strong. You will receive the watch in our travel case.
