A watch that I did not expect to conquer my heart in a rush. When I bought this piece, I texted people what I bought with the comment 'that will not be my favorite Santos at all'. So here I am confessing that I like the chubby Santos Dumont and I am also confessing that I like it as the super rare 'deux ors' variation. The watch is in good, worn condition. It has little signs of wear all over the case, but is well preserved and fat. It has only been polished little, meanwhile the white gold has created a nice warm patina over the time. The bracelet has some signs of aging, which is common for dials from this time. All in all, the dial looks very nice, same is for the hands. The sapphire is flawless. The watch is running flawless and has just been serviced. Besides the pictures, I will add a Cartier strap which makes the watch fit a 18cm-18.3cm wrist. So you will get the watch with the solid gold deployant and a Cartier strap.
