The 2961 is an icon, this is nothing we need to talk about. But have you ever tried the 2961 on a Godron bracelet? I do not know why, but for it is something special and nice that is a bit unique. Most people are buying the Carree with the screw bracelet. Back in the days the Godron was also quite rarer and so it is nowadays. The watch was bought in 1982 in Hamburg at Wempe and comes with the papers and the box. I have worn the watch some days and it is lovely!

Condition
The watch is in great shape, the case is fat and nice. The bracelet has little stretch, but nothing to complain about. The bezel is not round, the screw heads are looking good. The watch number matching the papers is visible and readable under certain light. The hands have a lovely blue tone and the dial is a little cracked, giving it a very nice look. Between the 4 and 5 index you can see some small marks, but this is actually not worth to mention. The sapphire has a little impact close to the 8 index. The clasp has a fixed spring bar, but is working great. The watch has just been serviced and runs great. You will get the watch in the box with the papers.
