All in all, the case has preserved its shape quite good, edges are edges and corners are corners. The engravings are readable and you are buying watch number 400 of the 17001 batch. Since this watch is 50 years+ old, it has scratches and marks on the case. The crystal has no scratches as far as I can see. Screws and threads are good, no issues here. For me, the dial is the highlight of the watch. Paris signed and looking like stone, this dial has a nice marble structure which differs based on the light. Combined with the hands, this watches face offers a lot of facets. The watch will come on a not adjustable leather strap on the correct clasp made from solid gold. The watch is running great on the wrist, it winds and really is accurate. Since the service history is not know, feel free to ask for a service if you want to have one. You will receive the watch in a Cartier service pouch.
